Cookery Courses for Children

Following the success of running in-house cookery sessions at the majority of schools across the Isle of Wight, we continue to develop our children's cookery sessions with our Junior Academy.

Children's Cookery Academy

Our very popular Children's Cookery Academy runs on Saturday mornings during term time. Different time slots, will ensure that all students get the very best out of the sessions. This is a structured teaching environment where the emphasis will be on equipping students to learn cookery techniques as well as healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime. Well done to the older students who recently obtained both their CIEH Food Safety Level 2 along with their CIEH Level 2 Heathier Foods/Special Diets qualifications.

Term fees equating to £9.00 per session must be paid in advance unless prior permission obtained. Our branded aprons (£12.50) are compulsory uniform and can be purchased at the first cookery session.

Our ethos is giving back to the community and recently the Junior Academy has been involved with fundraising for the Medina College trip to Kenya; helping Vectis Sunrise Rotary Club with their fundraising BBQ and cooking with Dads and their children at East Cowes Children's Centre.
